i have come to the conclusion that my kiddos have great imaginations...they play crazy things, they say crazy things, and they think up crazy things. one thing about their large imaginations is that they cannot watch anything on TV or movies without role-playing. the current favorite around our house is my little pony. so without further ado, please meet my children and my nieces...
kylie is PiNKiE PiE...
kenzie is TWILIGHT SPARKLE...
allie is APPLEJACK...
taylor is RAINBOWDASH...
what's really a little funny about all of this is how similar each of the ponies' personalities are to the girls...i mean, they really chose good ones for each person. pinkie pie is all girly girl and loves everything pink and is a little on the bossy side...hmmm, kinda like kylie. twilight sparkle is just a different breed...just like kenz! rarity seems like a dainty little thing...until you get to know her. just like little kolbs. applejack is a girly country girl...reminds me of katie when we were younger! seems fitting for allie :). the only thing that can be said of rainbowdash is that she's a lightning bolt of activity...just like Tay!! and fluttershy is a strong little pony but is very hesitant and doesn't really know the depth of her own strength...the little sweet, cute pony reminds me so much of jenna!
so it is kind of funny and kind of wierd all at the same time that they had so much insight to pick out the right characters for the right person. i asked kylie about who jett and murphy could be and she said, "mom, boys aren't ponies!! uncle TJ would never let murphy be a my little pony." she had a really good point. ;)
so, yeah, this is who we are these days...the my little pony girls.
