yes, it's crazy to me that i have a 4th grader. what was i saying about time flying?...
and yes, i have a 2nd grader...wow. that has an enormous egg between her eyes. more on that in a minute.
they were SO excited on the first day of school; they packed their backpacks {don't know why they do this, but they love it, so i'm fine with it...} and were dressed and ready to go at 7:30 asking me what time we would be starting school. i had to reiterate that every day school will start at 8:30, because i need mommy time with God every day, especially on the days that i have to teach school to my children all day...
we got going and kenzie was done within an hour. poor kylie; we're on day two and she is already beginning to memorize the american creed. it's gonna be a long year. for both of us.
back to the egg head...on sunday night, poor kenz took a golf ball smack dab between the eyes. her forehead is huge and she woke up to two black eyes today. precious.
between the peekaboo tooth, the missing tooth, two black eyes, and the egg on the head, she's one jacked up kid right now. good thing she's super cute or else she'd be in real trouble right now.
and last but not least, this one is having a hard time adjusting to not being the center of the universe now that school is back in session...
trying to figure out ways to keep her engaged so that she's not just running around crazy for four hours!! can't wait for another fun year with my babies...
