End of Summer...

Yesterday we started school.  I just can't even believe it as I type that.  Like, how did I miss those three months that were supposed to be summer break?!  IDK; I just feel like we just put away our school books from last school year, and here we are starting another one!  Oh well...

Just a look at a few of the things we did on our last week of summer break ~

We spent Monday and Tuesday swimming at Katie's house!  This summer has not been a great summer to swim due to the mild weather, but last week with the temperature in the 90s, it was perfect!

KK spent a lot of time riding her bike around - none of the other girls loved this quite as much as she has.  She will spend hours just riding around our little patio on the back porch!

Great Great came out and spent Friday, our last day of summer break, with us and we had a great time playing Aggravation and eating McDonalds and just spending time with one of our favorite Greats!

And now here we are starting the 2014-2015 school year!  I was reminded today of one of the reasons why I love homeschooling:  the overall flexibility! The girls love to take their schoolwork outside under the arbor, and as long as they're turning in completed work, I can work with that!

So here's to another great year!  Can't wait to see what 2014-2015 holds!!!
