giving thanks

i feel like a lot of times the thanksgiving season gets overlooked...i mean, it's so easy to see CHRISTMAS this time of year and to just graze right over thanksgiving.  because of that, i have tried this year to truly focus on the thanksgiving season.  i will share over the next few days some things that the girls and I have been doing to celebrate this very important time of year.  i also thought that for the next week i would post some pictures from our everyday life of things that i am extremely thankful for.  so for my first "thanks-giving" post...

i have been extremely reflective lately about how over the last few years i have begun to take for granted the church i have been blessed to be a part of...my kids get spiritually fed and they get to be a part of fun nights like these...

my cheetah and butterfly at the harvest fall festival...

they were dying to ride the pony, so i'm so glad they got to do that this year!

got to watch my whole family enjoy the train ride...well, kylie thought she was a little too big to be riding it, and drew was too big...he nearly gave the tire a flat...

kylie had to compete in every game...

another thing i'm thankful for is watching my babies grow.  yes, it's sad, but it's also so neat watching them take their first baby "steps"...

and how about watching my babies play together?  so sweet...

have i said before that kolbie adores kylie?  because she does...

don't you love how kolbie's holding up her feet so that kylie can push her?!  so cute...

just off of today's post can't you see how much i have to be thankful for?  i am so blessed and so thankful to be spending my days at home, with these little ones, striving to mold these little ones into Godly girls.

hope you're reminded this thanksgiving season of all the things you have to be thankful for.  happy tuesday!
