thanksgiving fun

just wanted to share a quick look at some of our thanksgiving fun...

okay, maybe not a good one to start with to convince you of the FUN...most of us had fun...moving on...

here is my baby who thinks that she is still...well, a baby...she literally sat in this for over an hour while we were there...why won't she do that at home when i need her to???

and for all of you whom i have tried to convince that i have a psycho sister {and you didn't believe me}, just check out this picture...
yes, it is sad...she is actually a mother of two...there should be a law against unstable people having children...
and of course it was such a lovely day {and the Ks hair was actually brushed and they looked presentable}, so i had to take many, many pictures of the little adorables outside...

and i know i say it every time i post a new picture, but when did this one get to be so old???  NOT giving thanks about that...

and then there was drew who was irked at having to come outside to take family pictures while "the game" was on...why is there always "the game" on, like the one and only game that cannot be missed? i mean, how many of those are there in one year??

and even though there was complaining and wailing and gnashing of teeth over having to take a family picture, i got a good one.  but you can't see it yet, because it's probably going to end up on the christmas card.

and then there was the baby in the basket...it wasn't planned, but she just looked so cute sitting in that thing that i had to unpack my camera for one last picture {which ended up being more like 10 more pictures}...

why is she so cute?!  i love her new smile.  she crinkles up her eyes and nose, and she is more adorable than ever.  if that's even possible.

see what i mean?

and, of course, i had to pull out the tripod and insist on a family picture.  and i'm so glad i did, because it ended up turning out great.

being able to be with my family on thanksgiving was the biggest blessing of all...i know i've taken it for granted in years past when everyone lived so close.  but having my baby sister live far away has put a new thankfulness in my heart for family.  we really did have a wonderful thanksgiving.

hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving, as well!  happy tuesday!
