photography fun with sweet sadie

i was so excited to take some pictures of my new niece, sadie, about a week ago...just let me say this was much harder than i'd imagined!  i really wanted to use natural light {which can be really difficult inside!} instead of using the flash.  that proved to be a little more difficult than anticipated.  it was also really hard to get that sweet little girl into a good position to take the perfect picture.  despite all of these obstacles, i was pretty pleased with some of the pictures i got...although i did try for a very long time to get one particular pose, and i didn't get it...oh well.  it certainly was not for lack of trying.

wow, doesn't that little bundle of sweetness make you want babies???  {yes, please!}  she is absolutely as precious as she looks...i love that sweet girl!  

i will be busy visiting with my sweet niece jenna and my new nephew jett over the next day or so and so this will probably be my last post before thanksgiving.  so happy thanksgiving to you all and i hope you all have a wonderful day being reminded of all of the blessings you have been given!
