anyone who lives in memphis knows that you just never know what kind of weather you're gonna get. that can be a good or a bad thing. last week it was a good thing. although it's the beginning of january, last week it was 65 degrees. it was so beautiful that we decided to take the kids to the zoo. it was the perfect day to hang out at the zoo.

drew surprised the girls by taking them ice skating...kylie loved it and kenzie hated it!!
kylie loved it so much that even after drew & kenzie got off the ice,
she stayed on for a while skating by herself!
so you know what? for once i was really thankful for our crazy, unpredictable memphis weather :)

that is awesome that we were at the zoo on the same day! bummer that we didn't see each other though! how much did the ice skating cost? was it free for members??
