fail.

today we dyed easter eggs.  the pastels were so light on some of them that they didn't really turn out.  and the girls are old enough now that it mattered to them.  i remember like a year ago this would have been so fun that they wouldn't have cared what color the eggs turned.  but now they're all, "wow, i wish we'd have known the eggs weren't going to look good so we wouldn't have wasted our time."  yay for a failed craft.

the pictures above were obviously all taken when they hadn't realized we were going to turn out with less-than-vibrant eggs...

and then there are always the random pictures of kenzie.  don't ask what happened to her nose; no one really nose...no pun intended hahahaha...oh, are you not laughing?  moving on...

and then here is the picture of the final outcome...be sure to look in the background...she always manages to crash my pictures...she does it on purpose...and i lover her for it...

 so there you have our janky looking easter eggs.

it was fun.  but entirely unsuccessful.  hope if you have easter crafts in mind, that yours turn out better!
