A Pool!!

At Christmas Drew surprised all of us with one of the best gifts he could have gotten for all of his girls - the promise of water in our very own backyard!!  Last week our new pool was installed, and even though it has been pretty chilly at night, the girls have gotten in the pool for at least 10 minutes every day since it has been up and running.  I am so excited, as well, and can't wait for warmer weather!

 

Kolbie sat watching the men work the whole time they were in the backyard.  The girls were so excited watching the pool go up!

 

 

As you can see, it was chilly the day the pool was put up.  In fact, it was so cold that the installation guys told us that we had to quit filling the pool with water and wait for sunshine or higher temps before we could fill it up.  Talk about disappointing to those girls!



 

The first swim of the season!  It lasted about five minutes because the water was so cold, but hey, at least they were able to get in!

Can't wait for summer fun in our new pool!
