What I Wore Wednesday / Memorial Day Fashion

I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!  We recognized the brave men and women who have died fighting to keep our country FREE at our church on Sunday, and on Monday we enjoyed some family time.  Anyone who knows me knows that I have been dubbed a "Holiday Dresser."  I love to dress with the current holidays in mind.  Here's a look at a couple of the outfits that I wore in honor of Memorial Day.  The navy and white polka dot top below is one of my all time favorites, and something that is definitely on repeat in my closet!

The next picture I have is of the dress that I wore to church on Sunday.  Unfortunately, I did not get a full length picture but I will share one hopefully when I am able to take one in it - it is a more casual look than I normally do on Sundays, but this nicer T-shirt style dress was perfect for Memorial Day!  I wore it with one of my favorite pairs of navy wedges and carried my new bag from Charming Charlie.

A couple of months ago I wrote a high/low post on spending less but still getting a high end look - I'm going to repost that on Friday, so be sure to check back.  A few of the items in this post today was on my high/low post!

Am I the only one who loves dressing for the holidays??

Happy Wednesday!

  4. Hi Stacy,
I love the outfit in the first photo AND that throw rug you're standing on is awesome too! I know the photo is about the outfit, but I just couldn't get over how much I love the throw rug too :) And the second outfit is one I can see myself wearing in my everyday life at home with my kids. Love it.
